In May 2021, she completed a Bachelor of Arts in Art History, a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Printmaking and an Honors College Degree at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
Her personal printmaking practice is motivated by the relationship between humans and the built environment. Much of the printmaking techniques she uses takes on a combination of photo-processes and experimentation. Her passion for printmaking stretches to the streets as she is interested in teaching the public that printmaking can be a tool for social change. One of the latest projects she was a part of was “Art + Protest” which was a coordinated day of free printing in Milwaukee’s downtown art district that provided the public with a voice through screenprinting shirts and signs in tandem with the election and the Black Lives Matter Movement. Volunteering at events such as “Art + Protest” informs her work in writing critical theory and inspires her love for printmaking. She will continue to promote social change with art projects in the community.
